Stephen A. McCormick

Stephen A. McCormickSteve McCormick began his Anheuser-Busch career in 1996 as assistant plant manager in the St. Louis, Mo., brewery. He started his beer industry experience as a brewing supervisor in Milwaukee in 1978. His expertise includes brewing, packaging, warehouse, maintenance, utilities and engineering assignments.

McCormick is originally from Philadelphia. He graduated from Villanova University with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin. McCormick became Baldwinsville plant manager in 2002.

Steve is a director of the following New York organizations: Metropolitan Development Association, The Manufacturer’s Association of Central New York, The Business Council of New York, The Health Advancement Collaborative of Central New York, and The Rosamond Gifford Zoo.

During the last four years over $140 million was invested in the Baldwinsville Brewery to modernize the equipment and to enable production of new products and packages such as the aluminum bottle, the sleeve label bottle, and flavored alcoholic beverages.

McCormick and his wife, Linda, have a daughter, Emily. McCormick is an avid triathlete and photographer.

David Baynes

David Baynes David Baynes began his career at Anheuser-Busch in 1988 as an experimental brewer at the Research Pilot Brewery in St. Louis. Throughout his career, Baynes has held positions at the Tampa, Cartersville and St. Louis breweries. He has also held several positions in corporate brewing in St. Louis. Most recently, he was Plant Manager at our malt house in Idaho Falls, ID.

Baynes became resident brewmaster in Baldwinsville, N.Y., in 2006. He is responsible for product quality and production of the eight million barrels of 27 distinct brands of beer produced at the Baldwinsville facility annually.

Baynes is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia holding a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. He graduated from the Anheuser-Busch Brewing School in 1993.

He and his wife, Tracy, have three children, Allison, Alexander and Andrew.
